Value for money but I wish I got it at discount :(Anyway, It’s great for beginners, no issues faced at all.JUST ONE IMPORTANT TIPMake a YouTube search for “Behringer UM2 Setup Driver on Windows 10”. It will guide you to download the Behringer’s driver for the device. The company discontinued somehow so you have to download it manually from the description of the Youtube Video.Make sure to download the driver otherwise Windows will automatically download one for you ASIO4ALL which causes more noise somehow, so make sure to download the original driver manually through the above mentioned way.AFTER 2 Months:It still works great, no issues at all. The key to utilize your audio interface is to master it, keep using it, try different techniques, cables, keeping other electronic devices away, not pluggin in your charger into laptop when using this, will cause more noise.

Okay so I’m a user of and Audient Evo, scarlette 2i2, and some other intefaces. This is not the best at all but it is the cheapest and you can get your work started at least…… I recorded with this interface for about a year and it was great but when I upgraded I heard the difference, no change in mic but the sound just got through more. I hope it made sense and sorry for my spelling mistakes but if you cannot get anymore money then go for it.

Got it yesterday, its cute looking and built is also fine, no complaints as per its price. I got samson condenser n my korg pa300 attached initially with win10 laptop. The sound in direct monitoring was good with my akg headphones but getting drivers were complicated. They say in there demo thats its plug n play but i dont know how. In my audacity it was not showing so i tried finding its drivers which was tough n on there website also the all asio drivers are very complicated to make them work specially with audacity. So tried getting its supplied tracksion software but it was also complicated to get by filling forms n making login ids for it, would hv preferred a cd instead or some other easy process for it. Got tracsion codes now but hv not installed them as it was long n exhausting work already so will try it later n hope it works well. I really hope these are not the cases with other interfaces like focusrite etc as its very irritating for me.Now from past 2-3 days Im trying to make it work, downloaded its drivers, wave software also and seen demos but I dont know why Im still not able to record anything. Im very disappointed and advise not to buy it as its process are very complicated to make it work Im still struggling and dont want anyone else to waste their time on this useless equipment, pls spend more and get focusrite or other better products. Im sure they must be simplier.

It’s easy to use, easy to understand. That doesn’t mean you’ll get it in an instant. Takes up a little bit of your time to figure out but once you do, you’ll be happy about your purchase. Good sound quality, good to start your work with. Definitely recommended and worth it. If anyone has second thoughts before every purchase like I do, you don’t have to worry about anything for this product. It delivers as it’s expected to and doesn’t disappoint. Go for it. Also it comes with a USB AB a.k.a USB-2.0 cable a.k.a the printer cable so you don’t need to buy that separately to connect it to your laptop/PC.

Great for price but not a good enough gain output for a Rode Podmic!
Its a great little guy. Great for the price however it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.Its made of plastic which is a slight bummer but not of any problem to me as it just sits on my desk. The knobs feel good and are precise. And it is easy as pie to set up literally plug and play in my experience.I play guitar abit and never had a easy way to connect it to my pc however the UM2 has a 1/4″ port which means you can plug a electric guitar or keyboard or anything that uses a 1/4″ jack which is awesome and makes it a good cheap all rounder.However it has a high noise floor which means no cranking the gain too 100 also because of this powering a high power mic the the SM7B or Podmic is impossible almost (although I have managed it with my Podmic but I had to up the gain in software as it was too quiet otherwise or too noisy if I upped the gain on the interface.So in short if you want a cheap interface for a easy to run xlr mic then this is great for you however if you want it for a gain hungry mic like the SM7B or Podmic then either get a better one or get a gain booster like a cheaper cloud lifter.
