 ULTRALINK ULM302MIC

ULTRALINK ULM302MIC

Once again we’ve broken the affordability barrier – with our new ULTRALINK ULM302MIC Wireless Microphone System, which includes 2 of our high-quality ULM300M handheld mics – and the equallyimpressive ULM300RD dual-channel receiver. Now you are free to work the room to your heart’s content, without the hassle and restriction of cables underfoot. Highest-quality sound is provided by the ULM300MIC’s customdesigned microphone capsule that is optimized for vocal performance, and the built-in transmitter that operates in the license-free 2.4 GHz range.

Interference-Free Performance

Interference-Free Performance

Our state-of-the-art transmitter operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which is well out of the way of TV stations and cell phone towers. And since it is digitally encrypted, your signal gets through in all its pristine, high-definition quality, without the random artifacts that often plague other wireless systems. The ULM300RD dual-channel receiver tracks your every move, with a range of up to 200 feet (60 m).

Extended Battery Life

Extended Battery Life

Replacing batteries in wireless mics can get expensive really fast – and having them die in the middle of your set can be a real showstopper! That’s why we devoted extra time in developing the ULM300M to ensure that battery life was extended as much as possible. You get an honest 24 hours of performance time from a pair of AA alkaline batteries, which are available virtually anywhere on the planet.

 Easy To Use

Easy To Use

Setup couldn’t be easier, because the ULM300M mics automatically pair with the ULM300RD dual-channel receiver – without you having to lift a finger. Convenient front-panel LEDs on the receiver show your signal presence and strength, while indicators on the transmitter let you know at a glance when it’s time to change batteries. Audio outputs are balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4″ TS, allowing you to connect to PA and conference room systems or high-quality instrument amplifiers.

ULM302MIC

Convenient Control

Convenient Control

We wanted the ULM302MIC to be ultra-easy to operate, so we gave each mic easy-to-understand and operate Volume buttons right on the microphone body. And should you accidentally wander into the “Feedback Zone”, we included a handy Panic Mute function that engages when you press and hold the Volume Down button.

Ready for the World

10 reviews for Behringer ULM302MIC Wireless Dual Handheld Microphone System

  1. DianeP

Having sold a wide range of audiovisual equipment over the years, I was on the lookout for a sub-$300 set of two wireless microphones. Behringer has a good reputation for pro-sumer equipment, so I gave this system a try, and was very happy with the results. Creating a system with a Behringer 802 analog mixer with USB recording out and a ZVox 203 Accuvoice speaker, I was delighted with the results in creating a highly portable and inexpensive setup for an audience of 35-50 persons. I was extremely surprised that there was NO feedback, when several times, inexperienced users stood with the mics right in front of the ZVox speaker (don’t know if that was the Behringer or the ZVox which prevented feedback). The only problem I had was that when I first tested the system. I tested it with one mic, and got confused that the front panel’s right-left of the ULM302MIC, is “backwards” on the back of the unit… it was unintiutive. But after I did some troubleshooting, I finally figured out that I need to READ “output 1” and “output 2” and not think “right-left” relative to the front of the unit. Maybe if they color coded the outputs to the colored rings on the handles of the microphones, that would be more intuitive.I haven’t really investigated this, but I hope that Behringer makes a wireless lav version of the microphone, which I can swap with one of the handhelds, and then Bluetooth pair the lav mic to the receiver. It’s a little disappointing that you can’t have multiple 2-mic setups, but I guess that’s just the nature of this frequency spectrum. The manual (albeit, short) is very clear on this limitation. It would also be nice to be able to buy some zipper pouches, like you get when you buy a Shure wireless mic, to protect the receiver and the microphones when you throw them in a gear bag. It also would be nice to have the power supply labeled in some way, so it’s easy to remember that it belongs to the ULM302MIC receiver, so you should make sure you do that yourself (I used a silver Sharpie).I bought a Pyle floor and desk stand for this project and was disappointed that the diameter of the mic handles wouldn’t fit the mic mounts on the stands. Since the mics have batteries, of course, the diameter needs to be bigger, but I didn’t think of that when ordering the stands.I gave this product a 5 for sound quality, but that’s pretty relative; I was judging for voice reinforcement, and matched it with a powered speaker which has some exceptional voice intelligibility features, and routed the audio through a mixer which gave me some EQ control. This isn’t, of course, a microphone for professional singers. I haven’t really used it enough to get a good feel on battery life. As a “value for the money” it is absolutely a 5!!!

I used the mic last week for the first time. With empty space on public park it works for good 100 plus feet and I was happy that it will work well but as soon as the crowd was there it was dropping signal from only 15 20 feet and have to switch my setup with 100 feet wired one as my program was going on. Won’t recommend if you want to buy this for bigger gathering. Waste of time and money.

We bought this unit for fast and easy setup at occasional events and it meets our needs. All you have to do is plug the receiver into power and connect 2 XLR cables and you are ready to go in under 5 minutes. The wireless mics are loud and clear with a good signal over a short range (up to 30ft) and no interference issues. The batteries last long enough for an event that lasts a few hours and we always use fresh batteries. This is not the type of mic you take out into the crowd or use from the back of a crowded venue, you want a UHF mic with large antennas on the receiver for this use case.Yes the build quality is mostly plastic but that is expected at this price point and it helps to keep things light and portable. If you handle and store your equipment properly between uses it will last. We use a casematix case with customizable foam inserts and remove the batteries from mics while not in use.

The mics were purchase to be used in a church and its been faulty from day 1. They keep cutting out very often.

  5. Albert Perez

The can be nicely use for short distance performances, but when you need to move around much and for longer distances, not the best choice.

  7. Jeremy

Constant interference. Tried to use at 6 events now. Always the same issue. Trouble shooting didn’t work, not I can’t return. Is this what I get for buying Behringer? Had a few good products from them and thought, maybe reviews are just rarities. 3rd purchase. Hugely flawed item.I’ve had $50 mics work better. Will update of Behringer makes right.

  8. Aisha

Sound quality and signal range is excellent in indoor and outdoor performance.

  9. chandi

    Amazing sounds
    Good choice for karaoke

  10. Pierre Lessard

Not professionnal mics. OK for family Karaoke
I own a few Behringer products for professionnal use… but these mics can oversaturate quite quickly during singing and produce a 1/10 to 1/8 second delay. They don’t “feed” much which is a good thing and the range looked OK but I only tested them 10 min each… They seem quite well built but I was hoping for more from Behringer and finally had to pay 100$ more for AKG mics.
