Real tube feel with the flexibility of a modelling amp. The VOX VT20X Classic Blue is a 20 watt guitar combo from the new VT-X Classic Blue series. It mixes VOX’s VET+ digital modelling with a real 12AX7 tube, so cleans, crunch and leads respond to how hard you play.
Why customers choose it
- Tube at the heart: the 12AX7 drives more of the tone than before, for natural compression, warmth and edge-of-breakup response.
- VET+ modelling: the next generation of VOX Virtual Element Technology, from the research behind the AC HWR series.
- Many sounds in one amp: 11 amp models and 33 programs on board, expandable to 20 models and 60 programs with the free VOX Tone Room software.
- Effects built in: Pedal 1 (comp, chorus, overdrive, distortion), Pedal 2 (flanger, phaser, tremolo, delay), 4 reverb types and noise reduction.
- Shape your tone: Bias Shift and Class selector, plus Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Power Level.
- Practice friendly: headphone output, aux input to play along with songs, and USB for editing.
Who it is for
Beginners and home players who want many sounds in one small amp, and guitarists playing small gigs. Also good for students and teachers who need clean, crunch and high-gain sounds from one amp.
