Bimal Thankachan –
A fantastic cajon for the price
Pros :
– Warm and full sound
– Good separation of Bass and Snare
– Sounds great with a two mic setup and sits well in the mix
– The paint job is beautiful
– The legs are robust and an absolute blessing when gigging
Cons :
– Snare wire has a slight ring when playing hard
– The tappa (playing surface) has a sharp edge at the top left corner, which may result in torn clothes .
Overall :
Bang for buck . Amazing aesthetics and great tone for a steal of a price .
