Tight Snap. Small Footprint. Explosive Personality.

The Pearl Short Fuse 10×4.5″ Snare Drum is the perfect addition to any kit or percussion setup that needs a little extra spice. Compact in size but big on character, this steel-shell auxiliary snare delivers crisp, punchy attack with a dry, trashy edge that’s ideal for hip-hop, gospel accents, breakbeats, and creative layering.

The 1mm steel shell offers focused projection with quick decay—great for tight grooves and rapid fire rimshots. Despite its small size, the Short Fuse is rugged and gig-ready, equipped with CL bridge lugs, 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops, and a durable Jet Black finish.

Use it as a side snare for funky backbeats, or as your main snare in compact kits and electronic/acoustic hybrid setups—the SFS10/C31 proves that small snares can still pack serious attitude.
