Can I play normal guitar chords on it?
Yes. It has six strings with the same intervals as a guitar, so chord shapes are the same; they just sound higher with Ortega’s A-D-G-C-E-A tuning.
Is it solid ebony?
No. Ortega lists the top, back and sides as laminated.
