Sonarworks SoundID Reference for Multichannel is packed with an astounding number of pro-requested features. For starters, the software includes both a multichannel DAW plug-in and a stereo standalone desktop application. You get three filter modes: zero latency, mixed, and linear phase, along with extra DSP processing controls, including mono, dry/wet, and safe headroom. The SoundID Reference application includes MIDI mapping for various parameters, as well as user presets for switching between predefined output devices/channel pair combinations. Phase alignment of channels for accurate time delay calibration and calibration profile export for supported hardware, including Avid’s MTRX with DPQ DSP and MTRX Studio, DAD’s AX32 with SPQ DSP, the Dolby Atmos Renderer Mastering Suite, and Jones-Scanlon studio monitors is also included.
