This, combined with a sound processing engine and high-res filter technology allows True-Fi to deliver unprecedented studio sound on the most popular headphone models.
Available for download, Sonarworks True-Fi is a desktop application designed to flatten and correct the sound of your consumer headphones so that they’re more suitable for critical listening and hi-fi enjoyment. The software borrows technology from Sonarworks’ well-regarded Reference software, which adds a correction curve that changes depending on the headphone model you’ve selected. That software was aimed at flattening out the frequency response for an accurate picture, one that reveals the problems of any mix and aids in the fight for speaker-translation during the mixing process.
This software applies the same principal, but tailors it for the hi-fi listening experience. It applies a correction curve, then allows for personalized hearing configuration that accounts for age and gender. You can customize the sound with adjustments for bass, should you like a heftier low-end response.
Once you own the software, you’ll receive all upgrades on this product at no extra cost. Over 151 models of headphones are supported from brands like Apple, Beats, Bose, JBL, and more. If you have a particularly esoteric model of headphone that’s not supported, you can send the pair into the company for individual modeling. This software is available for Mac and Windows platforms.
