10 reviews for Focusrite Scarlett Solo (3rd Gen) USB Audio Interface

    1. If you have used an audio interface before, You might not find a very drastic difference between the qualities of the former and this one but the one thing which is amazing about the scarlett solo is the low static noise2. There is also an option called “air” which can be used to record somewhat better vocals. The difference is little but still noticeable.3. The interface uses Type-C cable so you can easily use any phone charger cable in case your original cable is lost.4. When you use it the first time, It might take some time for the initial setup. The setting up process is somewhat manual and could be improved. For new users, Please refer to tutorials to set this up.5. Overall, the interface is very compact, Lovely designed and built. The led lights look awesome and are even customisable with the focusrite app on your pc.Finally, This interface just does the work for you. It has that value for the price it brings!

I am using it exclusively for Guitar/Instrument Playback and Recording. The user experience has been nothing short of eye opening. The USP is the sheer headroom and dynamic range which leads to pristine sound quality. It’s super responsive, latency is almost non-existent, and once you tweak to your setup you’ll forget anything about latency. The clarity of the sound is unrivalled at this price range as well.Simple, intuitive setup and interface means you’ll go from unpacking to trying your first tones in very short time. You get Ableton live DAW, along with tons of Plugins once you register your Scarlett. There are new plugins to try out every month!Pair this with any Amp Sim Plugins like Softube Amp Room, Amplitube, Guitar Rig or Neural DSP and you’ll feel that you’ve arrived!

I have both focuserite solo and 2i2. When it comes to scarlett 2i2 vs solo, both audio interfaces are similar. The only difference here is the price and number of inputs. In Focusrite Solo, you get two inputs – one XLR input and one 1/4′. In Focusrite 2i2, which costs more than Solo, there are two inputs as well, but both of them accept both XLR and 1/4′ plugs. The second difference is that you’re getting 1/4′ balanced TRS inputs on the rear panel with Focurite 2i2, as opposed to unbalanced RCA inputs on the Solo. And, the last difference is that you get a single knob in Focusrite Solo – the knob that controls volume for both monitors and headphones. In Focusrite 2i2, you get two seperate knobs.Simply 2i2 is better than solo.

Literally I Impressed From This Product. In Budget Value You Definitely Buy This Product. 75% Power Generate To Your Studio Headphones and Monitor. If You Want More Volume Power I recommend You Should Go To Higher Audio Interface. This Audio Interface definitely For Beginner Artist Who Start Music Production.

This is a very good startup USB Audio Interface. Upto industry standard 48kHz sample rate with 24bits of resolution it is highly responsive. ADC is also good, good sound quality.

  9. MiaDearMia

    Legend
A legendary quality little machine. It oozes quality, is absolutely intuitive and no-nonsense. Setup through the web pages was rather awkward and dated, from the experience perspective – they should really review that. Yet without much pain Ableton and control panel were installed, and everything worked just fine.

  10. Yaron Elmaliah

    Great value, high quality
Very good entry point into audio interfaces. The included software and video tutorials are great to get you started. As a bonus, audio through this sounds better than directly out of the pc.
