EUROLIVE F1320D

EUROLIVE F1320D

Building on the legacy of our wildly successful EUROLIVE F1220A, we are proud to present the even more powerful EUROLIVE F1320D. This 300-Watt active monitor system features a 3-band EQ, so you can tweak the Highs, Mids and Lows for a clear, true sense of your performance; a long-excursion 12″ woofer for punchy and deep bass, and a high-performance 1″ high-frequency compression driver for the ultimate in sound quality. And thanks to the Class-D technology we employed in the onboard 300-Watt amplifier, the F1320D weighs less than most passive monitor wedges (40 lbs/18 kg), making them easy to transport and set up.

Beauty is Much More Than Skin Deep

Beauty is Much More Than Skin Deep

Inside these active monitors is the equivalent of a 2-way electronic crossover, a graphic equalizer, a parametric equalizer, a mic preamp and a Class-D power amp! A long-excursion 12” driver delivers deep, punchy low end, while the 1” compression driver, mounted in a custom-designed horn, provides ultra-wide dispersion of clean, crisp highs. These systems work together seamlessly, cranking out 300 Watts of super-clean power, and here’s the best part – you don’t have to be a sound engineer to run it!

Class-D - Massive Power, Perfect Sound

Class-D – Massive Power, Perfect Sound

Thanks to our revolutionary Class-D amplifier technology, we are able to provide you with enormous power and incredible sonic performance in an easy-to-use, ultra-portable and lightweight package. Class-D amplification makes all the difference, offering the ultimate in energy efficiency and eliminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks. This amazing technology makes it possible to design and build extremely powerful products that are significantly lighter in weight than their traditional counterparts, while using less energy and protecting the environment.

Bi-Amplification - The Path to Absolute Signal Integrity

Bi-Amplification – The Path to Absolute Signal Integrity

With its 300 ultra-clean Watts of digital output delivered through separately-powered drivers, courtesy of true bi-amping (2 amplifiers per speaker system), the F1320D delivers high-resolution sound that really brings out the best in your music. While some of our competitors apply simple passive crossovers, which inaccurately separates the frequency spectrum and degrade driver performance, Behringer has gone the extra mile – driving each woofer and tweeter with a separate amplifier for absolute signal integrity.

Integrated Feedback Filter and Sound Processor

Integrated Feedback Filter and Sound Processor

The built-in adjustable feedback filter helps eliminate annoying squeals and howls so you can crank up the volume, allowing you to hear yourself above all the raging chaos, a.k.a., your band! After all, the main reason to have a monitor is so you can hear yourself, right? The EUROLIVE F1320D helps you perform up to your true potential. Additionally, a built-in sound processor works behind the scenes, ensuring the ultimate in sound quality, overall system control and speaker protection.

Custom-Engineered Transducers

Custom-Engineered Transducers

Powerful, high-efficiency Class-D amplifiers and Switch Mode Power Supply technology coupled with state-of-the-art DSP functionality sure sounds impressive – but what about the part of the system you actually hear? Our LF (Low Frequency) and HF (High Frequency) transducers are designed specifically for each application – it’s what sets us apart from the competition. When you buy a Behringer active loudspeaker, you can rest assured that the transducers inside have been engineered to perform flawlessly in conjunction with every other element for truly professional results.

Speaking of Control…

Speaking of Control…

The F1320D doesn’t just sound great, it gives you instant control of your monitor, even during your performance – something passive monitors simply cannot deliver! Need more volume? Turn the LEVEL dial until the desired volume is reached, getting too much bass or treble? Just reach down and tweak the 3-band EQ (High, Mid, Low) to tailor a rich, exciting sound. We’ve even provided the first line of defense against feedback, a dedicated Frequency dial you can adjust to eliminate troublesome mic squeals. Total control is always right at your fingertips with the EUROLIVE F1320D.

F1320D

Instant PA System

Instant PA System

You can set up an instant sound system with just one F1320D and a microphone or MP3 player. Thanks to the built-in preamp, you can connect a dynamic mic directly to the F1320D and raise and lower the volume with the Level control. Fast and easy to set up, you can be ready for “showtime” at a moment’s notice. There’s even a built-in 35-mm socket, so you can mount the F1320D on a standard speaker pole for use as a PA system. And if you need more coverage, chain together as many F1320Ds as you’d like via the convenient XLR or ¼ ” TRS LINK OUTPUT connector.

Versatility

Versatility

When is a monitor more than a monitor? When it’s used as an instrument amplifier. Yes, you read that right; the F1320D can also be used as an onstage amp for keyboards, acoustic guitar, electric violin, etc. You name it—if it’s got either a mic or line-level output, you can connect it to the F1320D. Need a keyboard amp and a vocal monitor, but don’t have the space on stage for both? Use one of our small-format XENYX mixers to sub-mix the Aux Sends from the main mixer with your keys, all into a single active monitor.

10 reviews for Behringer Eurolive F1320D 300W 12 inch Active Floor Monitor

They are well made but they do not perform exactly the same way with each unit, even in mono they clip at different volumes something to be careful about as the clipping is aggressive. They can handle about 100 people comfortably; if there are more people you will need to buy four of these. Great for indoor use as the bass is strong and clear, I would not recommend these for out door uses or as your main house speakers on a gig that will require lots of instruments and performers. Great as stage monitors as the feedback suppressor are easy to use and helps quite a bit. It does take some time to get each unit set up just right. Do plan ahead and give yourself an extra hour for fine tuning the Equalizer which are built in, you will thank yourself for it. The lack head room when it comes to high powered singers and will clip out as they start to really hit the high points. So have some additional speakers in place along with these, you don’t want to mess up an event. for small gigs I highly recommenced these units. There built from wood and are a bit heavy to lift on a stand. The trade off for the rich bass is worth it though.

Overall a great monitor/speaker. I have two and I use them primarily for stage monitors. The low end is really loud and bleeds through the housing a lot, so I always have to EQ the low end out quite a bit. they produce good strong sound and they work well as a PA speaker. The hole for a speaker stand is great. I use them as PA speakers when I have a small outdoor event and they fit well on a speaker stand. Very happy with them. The only reason I gave four stars is because of the heavy bass tones and the housing bleeds a lot of sound. I would like the speaker housing to better contain the sound so it doesn’t bleed through so much.

    Solid build and sounds great.

We have bought 5 of these for our band after struggling with passive monitors and EQs and having enough amps to give everyone their own mix. If you have not tried everyone having their own mix… your missing out. I cannot think of an easier less expensive way to do this. The front mounted EQ /feedback filter and gain controls are worth the price alone. These are not the most powerful monitors out there but we have not found a situation where they are not adequate. I run my bass out of them and it is more then loud enough to allow me to play clean and tight in addition to singing. Also great for practice amp and small parties– plug in bass / mp3 and your done.Little tip for lead singers… run mic into monitor, then out to board or snake so front of house mix changes does not alter sound of monitor. Works awesome.

Unlike most monitors, this unit is not a PA speaker turned on its side. This is designed to be a high quality low profile monitor that can also be used as a PA speaker ( I was at a wedding where these were used and they worked out great). A ported 350 watt powered monitor. Plenty of stage volume. I like the fact that you can move your head away from the center and they still sound good. My only criticism is that they have musician facing controls like volume, EQ, and feedback control. As a sound engineer I don’t like people fiddling with controls during a show. However if I was a musician on my own with no engineer then I would feel glad to have these controls facing me. Great monitor under $500. I bought three

I installed this at a small church where, do to some other changes to the sound system, the small passive speakers used for a monitor were no longer adequate. I had to replace the speaker wire with shielded wire and the audio from the monitor was (very) loud and clear. Most of the monitor speakers I have seen have 15 inch or larger speakers, which were to large for the space. The previous speakers were 6 inch bookshelf type speakers. With the 300 watt built-in amp, it will get extremely loud.

Light weight, and LOUD! I like that I can tweak the EQ. You can carry this one handed, and set it up in seconds. Not sure I love the feedback controls, it seems to color the tone some… I use this in combination with my bose compact, to give me a “right/left” stereo sound.” For the money, this is a really nice purchase.

  8. Paul Ferguson

I used it pretty lightly in small clubs and as a drum monitor. It died during use when somebody got a little loud on an uncompressed microphone. No warning, no distortion, just silence. After the failure, the power light and clip light flash once every two seconds or so as some kind of overload indicator, I guess. A couple of times it powered up almost normally and worked for a minute, but then the sound dies and the LEDs start flashing again. No helpful information in the manual, or on Behringer’s web site. I contacted support and it was just out of warranty, so they wouldn’t help at all. Their best solution was to pay myself to ship it to a California to a paid service center and back again. Obviously that would cost more than a new unit, so it’s kind of pointless. I would have even been happy if they would have told me something like, “the flashing LEDs indicate a power supply failure” or something like that to help in the repair, but they offered no help whatsoever. Before it failed it was fairly decent. Sounds clear. Just barely enough volume for a stage monitor with a band, but apparently that pushes it right to its failure threshold.
