Solid build quality, good sound
This radio mic replaced an earlier, cheaper karaoke model. The Audio-Technica has a nice solid feel and is easy to set up and operate. It was first used at our outdoor Summer Village Fete. Range (from mic to receiver) was sometimes 50 metres and worked fine. No interference, but then the village is quite remote. For us, the slightly inaccessible on/off switch was an advantage – didn’t get turned off by mistake. Highly recommended.

Doesn’t mute when off.
The only problem with this mike is that when the mike is off and receiver is on, it doesn’t mute. It sends noise into the mixer. Other than that it’s a good mike. The switch at the bottom is a bit of a pain as well. But it’s good value for money. Good cheap mike for backup vocals. I would use it for lead vocals.
